In 1973, Larry Bobo established the Powder Metallurgy Company in Carrollton, Texas. Initially, the company occupied a drafty tin building with a heat-treating company. While it was a terrific arrangement in the winter, there were plenty of opportunities to make sales calls to consumers who had air conditioning during the Texas summers! Powder Metallurgy Company had outgrown its facility by 1980. The company moved to its present site, which is northeast of Dallas (Lewisville), adding 400% more floor space. Our staff of highly skilled and knowledgeable individuals is the foundation of our success in providing excellent PM parts. Every powder metal job is supervised "hands-on" by our cohesive team. We begin by hearing out the demands of our clients and evaluating each application. As a result, the project parameters are fully understood. Then, a cost-effective manufacturing solution is accomplished by combining our broad PM capabilities with the newest CAD and FMEA technology.
