Located somewhat outside of Portland, Oregon, American Precision Industries (API) was founded in 1978 as a modest two-man business. Serving a budding chip manufacturing industry, it was sales by day and manufacture by night with a "do or die" mentality. Today, API employs over 125 committed workers and has grown to over 90k production square feet. API is still in the semiconductor business, in addition to the aerospace, medical, renewable energy, and defense sectors.
