Tractor overturns are a leading source of fatal injuries on American farms, accounting for about 130 fatalities per year.
Remarkably, 1 in 10 operators will, at some point in their lives, have a tractor overturn.
The fact that experienced operators are involved in 80% of these occurrences raises even greater concerns. Not only is the effect devastating, but it is also expensive; one in seven farmers who experience overturns will be permanently disabled.
Moreover, the consequences affect the viability of the farm as seven out of ten farms go down within five years after a tractor-related death. Our goal is to solve and lessen these issues in order to guarantee a more secure and safe farming environment.
