In the early 1990s, Igor Shkarovsky, a young engineer from Kyiv, Ukraine, emigrated to the United States shortly after the Soviet Union fell.
After settling with his family in the Chicago suburbs and working for various sheet metal fabrication companies, Igor realized there was an unmet customer need - quick turnaround, flexibility, and agility in an industry known for long lead times, inflexible processes, and overall rigidity. After a while, Igor decided to strike out on his own in search of his own version of the American Dream: to establish a one-stop shop where the client's engineers and his own product development team could uncover time-sensitive solutions for their design and prototype requirements. Faspro Technologies was established in 1995. Initially focused on rapid prototyping, the company's capabilities have expanded to include chemical etching, stamping, assembly operations, and laser cutting. Machining services have developed in recent years, accompanied by significant investment in modern technology.
Faspro Technologies is based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, and continues to expand and serve customers in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
