Our area of expertise is high pressure die cast (HPDC) dies, which are used to create inserts out of premium hotwork tool steel. Certain heat treat furnaces and certain heat treatment cycles are needed for these inserts. With the knowledge and tools necessary, Sun Steel Treating can manage any HPDC die insert weighing up to 8,000 pounds.
