Established in 1963 by Norman Sousa Sr., Sousa Corp. is a commercial and aerospace enterprise that has been offering superior heat treatment services for more than half a century. Since its founding, the West Hartford, Connecticut-based heat treat shop that specialized in pack carburizing and hardening has expanded in both size and capabilities. As the company expanded, Norm Sr. bought more machinery and expanded the facility's size.After buying the company from his father in 1994, Norman Sousa Jr. has played a significant role in expanding and modernizing it. The Sousa Corp relocated to a considerably bigger, more contemporary location in Newington, Connecticut, in 2012. Having more space to expand, they quickly reached capacity. These days, they provide a large range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials using a number of thermal procedures.
